Are Animals With 2 Heads Normal?

FACT: That's a 2 headed snake...

One theory is that ALL such incidents of 2 headed births is environmental...

Aasif Mandvi uncovers a far-reaching corporate conspiracy involving two-headed fish, a giant agribusiness called Simplot, and the pollution of Idaho's rivers...

... and although pollution could definitely be a factor (and probably is, given the way genes combine with each other), I doubt pollution will explain ALL such births.

To some degree, 2 headed animals MUST have been born throughout our recorded history... and non-recorded history as they are too common across the WHOLE planet for it to be our pollution to be the reason for all cases.

Two headed cat

Another two headed cat - well, kitten...

Have you ever played Chinese Whispers? Well, what if events in the past have been distorted through rumor or just plain story telling (for kids and adults) and it was this distortion and amplification(as Joseph Campbell explains in his book 'Primitive Mythology' about 'Super Normal Stimuli'), that led to the mythological images of, say, Ancient Greece...

About Cerberus (3 Headed Dog from Greek Mythology)

Definition: The three-headed, serpent-tailed dog Cerberus was the offspring of Echidna and Typhon. (In Greek mythology, parents didn't necessarily resemble their offspring.) In one of the main sources on Greek mythological figures, Hesiod's Theogony, Cerberus had not 3, but 50 heads.

Medusa... offshoot of Cerberus?
(i.e. a mythic result of super-normal stimuli?)

Don't Be Dumb. Animals Are NOT People!

You may have heard of the phrase "he thinks he's people" when a dog or cat owner describes how their pet likes to do stuff. Here is examples of people taking that "people" thing a little too far...

Fox News Video Jun 8, 2012- 1:32 - Arizona man tries to nurse baby bobcat, exactly opposite of what experts advise ... Warning: That's not a kitten...

You actually have to tell people... Please don't hug big cats. That's dumb. It leads to sh*t "unlike" this...

A woman got more than she bargained for recently when she got up-close-and-personal with some cheetahs for a photo op.

She says she was on vacation from Scotland with her husband and just wanted to get her picture taken next to the animals during a trip to a South African Game preserve.

It all started out fine, she says, but she quickly noticed one of the cheetahs attacking a young girl close by. After she went to go help pull them off the child, they began attacking her. Her husband kept taking pictures as the cheetahs got on top of her, leaving her with puncture wounds, scratches, and a severe cut on her scalp. Park employees and guests finally managed to pull the cats off.

Also, why is the media plastering pictures of people kissing dogs everywhere? Children like to imitate.  A child getting bitten by a dog because they are dumb enough to put thier faces into the face of an animal is something that's taught/learned not accidental. BTW, this guy isn't a child...

VIDEO: Dog Bites Anchor’s Face on Live TV

Yesterday on America’s Newsroom, Bill Hemmer showed video of an 85-pound Argentine mastiff being rescued from an icy reservoir. Unfortunately in doing press related to the rescue, the dog, named Max, bit a local television reporter in the face … on live TV!

The anchor, Kyle Dyer, got too close to Max’s face and he went on the attack. Dyer has had surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.

Max is in the custody of Denver animal control, where he will be examined before being returned to his owner.

Explanation of how kids imitate immature & racist adults. "Kids' racist tweets: "The infection is contracted from adults... it's a cultural sickness"

Explanation of the "stupidity epidemic" amongst adults in the United States is here ... Has The USA Become Like A Sort Of Disneyland?

BTW, there was a time when we were scared of poisonousness snakes, lions, wolves... but now it's goats. Really. What if it was a coyote, bob cat, peacock ... or even worse a kidnapper!

Notice how these bridges provide space for the animals to move and are open so the animals can see if the coast is clear (plus tree covered bridges could be bad in a land where being a 'knowing it all' brings people to a point where they attack people for, what are essentially, just words - not even swear words... where was I? Oh yeah, idiots could use tree covered bridges for vandalism or just to attack cars below or torture animals by throwing them on the road etc. No, Oklahoma, not road kill for dinner. Just to be mean)

Road Kill is an 8 billion a year problem! Well, in most places...

A Simple Concrete Bridge That Could Save America’s Wildlife

Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates win a design competition for an animal crossing that could help solve our $8 billion roadkill problem.

Jurors in the first-ever international competition to design a wildlife-safety bridge announced a winner on Sunday: Landscape architects Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA) and the construction firm HNTB for a foliage-covered pre-cast concrete span that, in the architects? telling, could rise over roads anywhere cars and animals collide, whether the highways of West Virginia or a major interstate in Colorado.

This one isn't technically an animal one but listen to the description. It's funny.
